Apartment-buying in Benahavís comes down to which pocket of the hills you choose: the mid-budget golf urbanizaciones of La Quinta and Los Arqueros, the premium gated belt of Los Flamingos around Villa Padierna, the wooded seclusion of El Madroñal and La Alquería, or a handful of traditional flats in the white pueblo down in the gorge. Every one we list has been walked, photographed and described honestly first. The number that brings most buyers here is simple — the same budget that buys you a coastal Sierra Blanca flat buys roughly a third more square metres twelve minutes up the motorway. La Zagaleta sits inside the postcode too, but it is villa-only for apartment purposes, so we leave it out of the shortlist.
