The municipality is entirely inland and elevated — it has no coastline at all, so any listing claiming a Benahavís beachfront apartment is mislabelled. What Benahavís actually offers is a roughly twelve-minute motorway run from La Quinta or Los Flamingos down to the beaches at Puerto Banús and San Pedro, or to the Estepona sands the other way. Buyers who land here have usually made a deliberate choice: hillside views, privacy and more square metres over sand on foot. If beach-on-foot is non-negotiable, we will say so plainly and point you to the coastal towns instead.
